Shukougyoku Japanese Rice (Medaka) bred in the US. The fish are freshwater, cold and warm water hardy, and peaceful, making them suitable for beginners. The lineage is of high quality and is ideal for those looking to start breeding medaka.

These are USA homebred. Very hardy and can be kept outdoors in many areas of the United States year round. The photos of the adults for this listing are the parents.

Very beautiful medaka. Shukougyoku Medaka are transparent scale type with vermilion red, and black markings, and taigaikou (external light).

DOA policy is if you provide pictures within 1 hour of delivery of unopened bag/vial showing DOAs, I’ll send replacements or refund the cost. DOAs are extremely rare, but with live animal shipping there is always some risk.
